Neelam Kothari on husband Samir Soni being an introvert

When speaking about her husband Samir Soni, Neelam Kothari admits he is an introvert, she said, “Samir has absolutely no filter. He’s an introvert, yes, but once he starts talking—boy, does he talk! He’s very clear and unfiltered; he doesn’t care and will call a spade a spade. Honestly, when I’m shooting with Samir, I get so scared because I never know what he’s going to say. Sometimes, I’m on my phone, and he overhears gossip or random things, and I’m always warning him before the shoot, ‘Babe, don’t mention that thing, huh? What you heard that day—just don’t mention it!’ “

She added, “And he’s all, ‘Chill, don’t worry.’ That’s just him—he doesn’t enjoy the whole scene. He’s happiest sitting with three or four people, having an intellectual discussion. That’s amazing, and when he starts talking—trust me—he doesn’t stop, especially if he’s enjoying the topic.”

Neelam Kothari on meeting men

Speaking about encountering a man on every girl’s holiday, Neelam Kothari said, “You know what? Like I said in Season 3, I think it’s just the universe—I tell you, it’s the universe! It’s like a magnet with these men whenever I go on holiday. What do I do? They all make fun of me, but it doesn’t happen in Bombay; it’s only when we travel. What’s happening? Am I giving out those vibes? Really, it’s just the universe. Maybe it’s a sign that I need to go on more girly holidays.”
